And so it begins!
I’ll try and make a journal-style format I can keep to throughout the month for comparison. That way I can track progress, and keep an eye on things.
Meal One:
– 1 x 250g T-bone steak
– 1 x pork sausage
– 1 x egg (700mg)
Meal Two:
– Roast Pork Belly (lots)
– 1 x beef sausage
– 1 x bacon rasher
Weight: 92.6kg
Water: At least five litres – went to the sauna today.
Thoughts: A bit of a shock to the system, in good ways and bad. Damn meat tastes goooood. Didn’t know how much I missed it until that first juicy bite of steak. On the flip side, I’ve got a bit of a headache, I feel a bit sweaty, and I’m hoping I’m getting straight to the keto flu, cause I don’t normally get headaches much at all. Digestion seems to have ceased – I felt like lunch was still sitting in there when I shovelled dinner on top. But, damn my wife knows how to cook a mean pork belly, and I’ve got to say, despite being somewhat out of practice, my steak cooking skills are right on point too.
