What a weird time in human history! Victoria is now in shutdown phase 2. We’re confined to our houses, and all activities that would normally bring people together are cancelled until further notice. I’m assuming for a couple of months at least. Supermarkets and essential services remain open, so there’s no scarcity. It would be eerie that the streets are empty, but that’s how things are all the time here in Colac. Apart from play groups which have been cancelled, life goes on as normal for Kora and I. We play a lot, cook a lot, clea and wash a lot, play a lot of music, make a lot of mess… I find it very easy to get anxious about things, and I’m drawn to get up and do things constantly. But I remind myself that this is exactly what I signed up for this year. Laughing and singing and playing with my daughter is actually exactly what I want to do, so despite feeling the nervous pull to action, I’m returning as quickly as I can to be present and purposeless! It’s not so bad!

Diet chugs on… headaches remain, as does this surging energy I feel throbbing in my head non-stop throughout the day and night. It can’t be good for me! Weight is kinda bouncing around 88kg, but I feel like I’m in much better “shape”. I’m hoping my body is going straight to building lean muscle mass, which would explain the plateau. If not, the vast majority of weight loss was done in the first few days, and was probably water weight anyway. Not long to go now.
