Woohoo! The month is complete. Very shocked I managed to stick with the diet so strictly for so long. And amazed at how long a month feels when all is said and done. My headspace, the weather, my daughter, the world… everything changed so much in that time. It changed my perspective a little about what a month is, and just how much you can achieve in one. Just finished a beautiful rib-eye on the bone (pan seared, then oven baked) and have popped a bottle of Heathcote Shiraz to celebrate.

I went to the doctor today – for the sake of the experiment more than anything. We chatted about the headaches and he suggested a heap of things I’ve tried already (salt in drinking water, slice of lemon – electrolytes essentially). We also checked blood pressure, but it was low as always. I’ve had some blood taken, and I’ll publish the results once I get them in a summary.

Meal One:
– 1 scotch fillet steak
– 2 fried eggs
– 1 middle bacon rasher

Meal Two:
– 1 (big) rib-eye steak (on the bone)
– 2 fried eggs
– 1 middle bacon rasher
